An Old Oak Named Methuselah
My painting of the old oak tree has been done with the thought of the words of the song "Tie a Yellow Ribbon 'round the Old Oak Tree..." as a welcoming home message for our brave servicemen and women who served us all so wonderfully during the Wars of this 21st Century.
This image was painted in memory of my Dad, Emmanuel Gush, who was killed by enemy action in World War II, April 25, 1942.
